How much does a student need to survive in Germany?
A living allowance of €600 per month is enough to live comfortably. That should cover accommodation & utilities, food, insurance, transportation and entertainment.
Would I be able to get sponsorship if I am a private candidate for GAPP?
If you get excellent results in your A-level and German language, GMI would try to get you sponsorship from the Industry & also the University in Germany.
Is it easy to get halal food in Germany?
Yes, there are a lot of Turkish halal food and stores which sell halal meat in Germany.
What engineering course could I take in Germany?
It depends on your field of interest. Common ones are Mechanical, Mechatronic, Automotive and Environmental Engineering.
Are students allowed to work in Germany after they graduate?
Yes. If a company is interested to take you after you graduate, you are normally given a 2-year contract to work with the company.
How long is the duration to study Engineering in Germany? What is the qualification will I get?
Most of the UAS (University of Applied Science) offer Bachelor program which requires 6-7 semesters (3.5 – 4years). A Diplom qualification requires 8 semesters (4 to 4.5 years).
