Background
The German A-Level Preparatory Program was established in 2001 to increase the enrollment at tertiary level particularly in the fields of engineering courses. The Federal Republic of Germany is one of the major industrial countries offering the best engineering education that promotes lifelong learning embedded in their education system. The highly skilled and motivated workforce have propelled Germany to its present position among the world’s leading industrial nation.
Students enrolled in this program will have to undergo a 20-month preparatory program at the German-Malaysian Institute. Qualified students will later be given the opportunity to study at the University of Applied Sciences or Fachhochschule in Germany.
UAS is a higher institution whose degree offers a greater practical-focused courses with very much application-based that produces better qualified workforce with academic background. UAS professors and lecturers generally have practical career experience in addition to their academic qualities that sustain the quality of education and training.
