
The German A-Level Preparatory Program was established in 2001 to increase the enrollment at tertiary level particularly in the fields of engineering courses. Students enrolled in this program will have to undergo a maximum of 2 1/2-year preparatory program at German-Malaysian Institute. Qualified students will later be given the opportunity to study at the University of Applied Sciences or Fachhochschule in Germany.
Fachhochschule is a higher institution whose degree offers a greater practical-focused courses with very much application-based that produces a better qualified workforce with academic background who could solve practical task quickly and successfully. The Fachhochschule professors and lecturers generally have practical career experience in addition to their academic qualities that sustain the quality of education and training. |
