Appropriately called Dewan Gemilang Mercu Idaman (Dewan GMI), this one-and-a-half storey multipurpose hall comfortably seats 2000 pax in theatre arrangement and 500 in banquet style.  It is fully air-conditioned and equipped with a overhead projector and PA system.
