Director, Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle Joint Business Council, Datuk Ir. Ts. Dr. Mahadi Mohamad, and Secretary of German Alumni Association, Mr. Puvanendren Maniam paid a courtesy visit to GMI earlier today to explore potential collaborations that the alumni association can contribute to its alma mater.
The Chief Executive Officer of German-Malaysian Institute, Tn. Hj. Ahmad Solihin bin Mohamed Yusoff, in his opening remark described the offer similar to a famous Malay idiom of ” Kecil tapak tangan, nyiru kami tadahkan,”. This literally means GMI is truly grateful to receive any suitable proposal and welcomes larger contributions.
Several potential partnership opportunities were discussed including the EV teaching factory, international students intake, monumental endowment from alumni, and green technology.
