This course teaches participants with the design of On-grid Solar System that are widely installed throughout Malaysia.
This course emphasizes on the solar system design and applications and each of the must have components in a complete solar system are covered in depth. The participants will not only learn on how to choose and sizing up the components with adherence to the customer demand and load, but also methods in troubleshooting the system.
Course Objectives
- Explain the characteristics, principles and constraints of various types of solar system
- Choose the best solar system with consideration of relevant factors such as customer demand, environment, government policy
- Design three types of Grid Connected Photovoltaic (GCPV) solar system
- List the advantages and disadvantages of different types of solar system
- Explain the function of photovoltaics array and balance of system components for each type of solar system.
