Emphasize on the theory and application of fundamental of bending operation and bending dies. Participants are taught of the basic techniques and skills in the fabrication process from conception of bending operation of metal part through start of assembly according to the proven progressive bending die set. This course will clearly illustrate the proper design limit or alternative and describe the penalties that can occur in the manufacturing process include calculation parameters involves in die designing bending data parameters such as estimated blank size, blank development including calculation of bending dies.

- To have the knowledge on minimum bending radius to be bent without failure, neckingand fracture
- Reducing methods against springback in V & U bending die operation.
- Be able to identify the problem, causes in bending operation and able to soft the problems
- To have the knowledge to calculate blank development of sheet under bending
