Kajang, 28 July 2026 – The German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) celebrated 89% of students with a CGPA of 3.00 and above at its July to December 2026 Student Assembly. Impressively, the overall academic performance for January to June 2026 reveals:
- 89% of students scored CGPA 3.00 and above
- 49% scored CGPA 3.50 and above
- Over 13% scored CGPA 3.80 and above
These figures reflect the institute’s consistent track record of producing high-achieving and hands-on graduates.
Held at Feisol Hassan-Halle, the assembly marked the official start of the new academic session and served as a platform to honour outstanding achievements across academic and co-curricular excellence.
Celebrating Academic Excellence
Among the awardees, one name stood out.
Ain Nur Aida binti Khairul Anuar from the Diploma in Software Engineering programme completed her sixth and final semester with a perfect CGPA of 4.00. She maintained this record throughout her three years of studies at GMI. Her achievement exemplifies the highest standard of academic consistency and serves as an inspiration to current and future students.

The institute also celebrates students who maintained a perfect CGPA of 4.00 for two or more consecutive semesters.
Co-curricular Excellence
