Kajang, 29 January 2026 – Strengthening industry linkages in advanced manufacturing and engineering was the focus of a recent strategic visit to GMI by HOSCH Malaysia, led by Mr Hazwan Hairollah, Managing Director of HOSCH Malaysia. The engagement centred on developing future-ready talent to support Malaysia’s industrial growth.

Discussions explored collaboration opportunities in professional staff development, enhanced student industrial exposure, and technical support for the local manufacturing ecosystem. As part of the visit, the delegation toured to nine of GMI’s 22 Advanced Technology Centres, including:

- Additiv Zentrum (3D Printing Centre)
- Zeiss Industrial Metrology Lab
- Spinner CNC Precision Technology Centre
- GTC Injection Moulding
- LVD Sheet Metal Processing Technology Centre

- EV & Hybrid System Lab
This visit reinforced a mutual commitment to advancing Malaysia’s industrial landscape through hands-on, technology-driven education.
