Ipoh, 12 October 2025 – Celebrating a significant achievement, a team from the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) has won third place in the KKDW TVET Competition under the ‘Inovasi Pengguna’ category. The award was presented at the Ekspo TVET@KKDW, held on 12 October 2025 at the Ipoh Convention Centre.
A team of three final-year Diploma in Network Security students developed the winning project, titled the ClickJacking Auto Detection System (CADS). Muhammad Afiq Farhan, Muhammad Amirul Asyraf, and Arif Nabihah created the system under the supervision of their lecturer, Ms. Hazni Yati Mohd Ghadzi.

The ClickJacking Auto Detection System (CADS) is an advanced security solution designed to proactively protect users from malicious clickjacking attacks by automatically detecting and neutralising hidden threats on web pages. This prestigious award underscores GMI’s commitment to excellence in applied technology and its strength in cultivating the next generation of cybersecurity talent.
