The Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and Minister of Kemajuan Desa dan Wilayah (KKDW), YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi, along with the Chairman of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Asyraf Wajdi bin Dato’ Dusuki, had the privilege of visiting GMI during the Walk About Session. They received a warm welcome from Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GMI, Mr. Ahmad Solihin bin Mohamed Yusoff, along with members of the management team, staff, and students of GMI.
During the session at the Kluster Teknologi Pembuatan Termaju, YAB Dato’ Seri expressed interest in and observed a drone demonstration. This demonstration was presented by final year students from GMI’s Diploma in Engineering Technology (Mechatronics) program – 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑫𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝑺𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒎 (𝑪𝑶𝑺𝑰𝑫𝑺).
Furthermore, YAB Dato’ Seri also explored the exhibition, showcasing the projects created by GMI students within the Creative Multimedia Technology and Robotics and IoT Technology Cluster.
