KAJANG, 19 December 2024 – The German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) had proudly hosted a group of 10 enthusiastic students, teacher, and parents from Sekolah Menengah Jenis Kebangsaan (SMJK) Chung Ling, Penang, for an insightful educational visit. This visit provided the group with the opportunity to explore GMI’s diverse educational and training opportunities, including pathways for further studies both locally and internationally. The tour also allowed them to experience cutting-edge technologies while immersing themselves in GMI’s enriching learning environment.
Interactive German Language Session

A key highlight of the visit was an engaging German Language session led by Ms. Rowinah Jakiwa, GMI’s Senior Technical Training Officer at the Foundation, Pre-University & General Studies Department. Her interactive and dynamic teaching approach made the session both enjoyable and informative for the students.

Exploring GMI’s Advanced Technology Labs

In addition to the language session, the group were given a guided tour of several of GMI’s advanced technology centres, equipped with the latest tools and machinery. The group had the opportunity to witness first-hand the impressive projects developed by final year students, showcasing the hands-on approach to learning and the practical skills developed through GMI’s programmes.
