Kajang, 8 January 2026 – The German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) strengthened its international academic links by hosting a delegation form the University of Greenwich, Vietnam. Dr. Vo Thuy Nhat Minh led the visit of 4 staff and 126 students from Business, Graphic Design, Digital Design, and Computing programmes.

The visit centred on a skills-sharing workshop conducted by GMI lecturers, which facilitated a valuable exchange of expertise and teaching methodologies. Subsequently, the delegates toured Advanced Technology Centres including:
- Electrical Engineering Department Gallery)
- Cyber Schlachtfeld (Cyber Security Battlefield)
- CISCO Networking
- Mini Cinema
- Multimedia Animation Studio
This productive engagement established a strong foundation for future collaboration. GMI looks forward to developing these partnerships further, with potential on-the-job training programmes, tailored short-term courses, and unique edutourism initiatives. These opportunities aim to enhance global learning and professional development for students and both institutions.
