Germany, 30 October 2023 – GMI marked a significant step on its path to success.
GMI Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Tuan Haji Ahmad Solihin Mohamed Yusoff, alongside Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Chairman of the National TVET Council YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, MARA Chairman, YBhg. Datuk Wira Dr. Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki, and MARA Deputy Director-General (Entrepreneurship), YBhg. Dato’ Zulfikri Osman participated in three pivotal events, solidifying GMI’s position as a leading TVET institution:
1. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TH Brandenburg, a partnership witnessed by the DPM himself. He also dedicated some time to inspiring 30 Malaysian students who are pursuing their education at this university.
2. A productive briefing with the German Chamber of Commerce (GCC) Headquarters, focusing on the fundamentals of vocational education and the coordination of Global TVET Program Management.
3. An enlightening briefing session with Bosch, where insights and knowledge on upskilling, reskilling, as well as R&D initiatives, including ESG, were shared.
The Deputy Prime Minister and the Chairman of MARA praised GMI as a force to be reckoned with and were deeply impressed by our facilities, especially the Electric Vehicle and Cybersecurity labs.
