Kajang, 18 September 2025 – GMI was privileged to host Ms. Nurfazliana Talif, Education Attaché of the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam. The visit served to reinforce bilateral relations and identified strategic avenues for cooperation in technical and vocational education and training (TVET).
GMI officials and Ms. Nurfazliana engaged in substantive discussions to develop mutually beneficial educational initiatives. The visit marks a significant step in strengthening academic ties, with a focus on collaborative opportunities in industry-recognised professional certifications, short-term reskilling and upskilling courses, as well as edu-tourism and knowledge exchange programmes.
During the visit, Ms. Nurfazliana also toured GMI’s Advanced Technology centres, including the Smart Mini Factory Lab, Additiv Zentrum (3D Printing Lab), Festo Pneumatic Technology Excellence Centre, Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Lab, Cyber Schlachtfeld (Cyber Battlefield Centre), Emerson and Lucas Nulle technology lab.
