Kajang, 12 November 2024 – The Department of Computer and Information, German-Malaysian Institute (GMI), recently hosted the Final Year Project Showcase for students of the Diploma in Network Security, Diploma in Creative Multimedia, and Diploma in Software Engineering. The event provided a platform for the students to showcase their innovative projects, along with cybersecurity talks, career-sharing sessions, and the presentation of special awards for outstanding student projects.

MoU as a Strategic Step to Empower Students
During this event, GMI further expanded its strategic collaboration by signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CustomMedia Sdn. Bhd., Dotcom Telecommunications Sdn. Bhd. and Gemas Lestari Sdn. Bhd. This collaboration aimed to enhance digital competencies in critical areas such as cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), software engineering, and Industry 4.0.
