Penang, 14 September 2025 – A haul of five medals marks the outstanding achievement of the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) Taekwondo Club at the 3rd SPT Bravo Invitational Taekwondo Championship 2025. The event, which ran from the 12th -14th September 2025 at the Han Chiang Stadium in Penang, featured a spectacular display of athleticism and spirit from the most promising talents.
A team of seven dedicated GMI athletes compete fiercely across multiple categories, demonstrating exceptional skill and unwavering discipline. Their collective efforts culminated in the team securing an impressive haul of 5 medals, bringing significant honour to the institute.
The medal-winning performances included 2 gold medals and 2 silver medals in the Pair Poomsae Under-30 categories, alongside a further silver medal in the demanding Kyorugi (sparring) competition.
