Pahang, 16 October 2025 – The Robotics Society team has clinched a Gold Medal at the International Creative, Innovative, Robotic & Technology Competition (i-CIR Tech’25). The event was held on 15-16 October 2025 at Institut Pedidikan Guru Kampus Tengku Ampuan Afzan in Kuala Lipis, Pahang.
The team excelled in the International Innovation Category with their project, the Smart DIY Camber Wheel Adjustment Tool V2 (SMYCATV2), which presents a significant advancement in automotive engineering technology.
The winning team comprised students from multiple disciplines, demonstrated exceptional technical skill and collaborative innovation throughout the competition:

This achievement was guided by dedicated advisors Mr. Mohd Heidir Mohd Shah, Mr. Afiq Farees Jamil, Dr. Ahmad Hafiz Mohd Hashim, and Dr. Sham Firdaus Md. Ali. The German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) also acknowledges the foundational support from the Mechanical Engineering Department, Electrical Engineering Department, and Computer & Information Department.
