Kajang, 12 February 2026 – Nearly one month into the academic journey, the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) united the campus community for its Student Assembly of the January-June 2026 Session. Marking a strong start to the semester, GMI officially appointed and swore in the new Student Representative Council (SRC) members. The ceremony symbolised a fresh mandate for student leadership and representation.

Music Performance Uplifts the Student Assembly

Adding a vibrant touch to the Student Assembly, talented GMI students delivered a captivating music performance that uplifted the spirits of everyone in attendance. The melodic interlude showcased the creative talents flourishing within the institute, proving that engineering-centric students are well-rounded individuals who pursue creative passions alongside their rigorous academic and co-curricular training.
