Kajang, 7 March 2025 – The German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) for a monitoring visit on the rationalization programme of TVET development projects funded under the 12th Malaysia Plan (RMK-12) budget. The visit aimed to review the progress of implemented projects for 2024 and proposed projects for 2025, ensuring alignment with TVET development goals.
The delegation was led by Mr. Mohd Nazri bin Mohd Deni, Undersecretary of the Corporate and Skills Development Division, KKDW. Also in attendance were Mr. Amirul Amrie bin Hasnul, Senior Assistant Director of the Monitoring Section at ICU, JPM, Ms. Maryatul Kiptiah binti Hamzah, Assistant Director of ICU Selangor, and officers from the Corporate and Skills Development Division, KKDW.
During the visit, the delegation assessed the implementation of GMI’s development projects, which focus on enhancing infrastructure and facilities to support technical and vocational education. These projects are part of GMI’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for training and education.

The delegation also toured GMI’s advanced technology centers, including the Additiv Zentrum (Additive Center), Cyber Schlachtfeld (Cyber Battlefield Center), and Hybrid and EV System Lab. These facilities highlight GMI’s commitment to providing innovative approaches to technical education and preparing students with industry-ready skills.
