Kajang, 24 July 2025 – A 12 member leadership delegation from the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI) visited the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) to explore comprehensive collaboration opportunities.
Led by Datuk Wira Lim Chiun Cheong, Vice President of KLSCCCI and Chairman of the Malaysia-China Economic, Trade & Investment Promotion Committee, the delegation engaged in productive discussions on key initiatives, including:
- Student Sponsorships & Internships – Enhancing career pathways for GMI students.
- Industry Linkages & Private Financing Initiatives (PFI) – Strengthening ties between academia and industry.
- Reskilling & Upskilling Programs – Addressing evolving workforce demands.
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Projects – Supporting community and educational development.
The discussions further explored potential collaborations in Mandarin-language education resources, digitalization of Malaysian culture, and final-year student projects.



GMI looks forward to fostering long-term partnerships with KLSCCCI to create meaningful opportunities for students and advance Malaysia’s technical education landscape.
