TELC Examination at GMI

Kajang, 25 June 2024 – From the 25th to the 28th of June 2024, the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) hosted the prestigious TELC Deutsch B1 examination, welcoming a diverse group of candidates comprising international and local participants. This examination marked a significant opportunity for candidates to demonstrate their proficiency in the German language, aligned with the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

GMI extended a warm welcome to all exam candidates, expressing sincere wishes for success in their TELC Deutsch B1 examination. Among the candidates were representatives from Eurocom Language School in Vietnam, underscoring the international recognition and appeal of GMI as a trusted examination center for The European Language Certificates (TELC).

The four-day examination period saw a total of 101 candidates participating, each aiming to obtain certification that validates their language skills across various proficiency levels of the CEFR. GMI’s commitment to maintaining rigorous examination standards ensured that candidates underwent thorough assessments in listening, reading, writing, and speaking, crucial components of the TELC Deutsch B1 examination.

Taking TELC Exam

As a recognized examination center for TELC, GMI continues to facilitate language certification in TELC Deutsch A2, B2, and C1. The institute welcomes candidates from schools, universities, companies and private sectors who aspire to validate their language proficiency through these certifications. GMI is gearing up for the forthcoming TELC examination, which is slated to occur from July 27th to July 31st, 2024. This will open up more avenues for candidates to acquire language certification and boost their global career prospects.

    – This contest is open to secondary school students born between January 1, 2007, and December 31, 2009.
    – Participants must follow at least one of the official social media accounts of the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) to be eligible (Facebook, Instagram or Tiktok).
  2. Contest Participation
    – To enter the contest, participants must complete the quiz and submit their answers as instructed.
    – Participants are encouraged to create a unique and creative tagline related to GMI to increase their chances of winning.
  3. Agreement to Terms
    – By entering the contest, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
    – Participants must ensure that their submissions comply with all guidelines provided.
  4. Prizes
    – Details of the prizes will be announced at the start of the contest.
    – Winners will be selected based on the accuracy of their quiz answers and creativity of their tagline.
  5. Selection of Winners
    – Winners will be notified through the social media platform where they entered the contest.
    – The decision of the contest organizers is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. Privacy
    – Personal information collected during the contest will be used for the purpose of this contest and promotional activities and will be kept confidential.
  7. Liability
    The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions or engages in any fraudulent activity.
  8. Modification of Terms
    The organizers reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes through the official GMI social media accounts.
