Kajang, 22 January 2026 – A delegation from Yayasan Kelantan Darulnaim (YAKIN) visited the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) to strengthen institutional partnerships and create new opportunities for aspiring students. Led by Mr. Nik Jessim bin Tan Sri Nik Hashim, Director of YAKIN, the group focused on expanding access to industry-aligned Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes.

The delegation undertook a comprehensive tour of GMI’s Advanced Technology Centres, observing the practical training and cutting-edge technologies that underpin the curriculum. The tour provided direct insight into key facilities, including:
- Cyber Schlachtfeld (Cyber Battlefield Centre)
- OMRON Certified Training Centre
- KUKA Industrial Robot Lab
- Hybrid & EV System Lab
- CNC DMG Mori Centre
- Additiv Zentrum (3D Printing Centre)
GMI continues to forge strategic partnerships that enhance access to quality TVET education, ensuring students acquire the practical expertise demanded by leading industries.
