Kajang, 9 September 2025 – GMI welcomed a delegation from the United Chinese School Committees’ Association of Malaysia (Dong Zong) for a strategic visit focused on exploring enrolment pathways for holders of the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC). This discussion reinforced GMI’s commitment to providing inclusive and accessible technical and vocational education (TVET) in Malaysia.
During the tour, delegates experienced GMI’s industry-standard training environment first-hand. Key highlights included the Mechanical Engineering Gallery, which features final-year project showcases, the EV and Hybrid Lab, the Cyber Battlefield Centre, the on-campus cinema, and the Additiv Zentrum for advanced 3D printing.
This engagement underscored GMI’s pivotal role in nurturing technical talent and empowering students within Malaysia’s TVET ecosystem.
