Kajang, 16 April 2026 – A high-level delegation from Fenecon Malaysia and Germany, led by Chief Executive Officer, Mr Tomas Goesswein, visited the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI). This strategic engagement focused on strengthening collaboration across upskilling and reskilling initiatives, alongside the development of joint research and development (R&D) programmes. Both sides explored concrete pathways to bridge industry needs with advanced technical training.

During the visit, the delegation toured several of GMI’s Advanced Technology Centres, including:
- Hybrid & EV Systems Lab
- Renewable Energies & Power Generation Centre
- Solar Photovoltaic Lab
- Bosch Rexroth Smart Mini Factory
- CNC DMG MORI Centre
- Additiv Zentrum (3D Printing Centre)
These facilities showcase GMI’s commitment to hands-on, industry-aligned learning in critical fields such as EV systems, renewable energy, smart manufacturing, and precision engineering.
Fenecon’s leadership expressed strong interest in co-developing capacity-building programmes that address current and future workforce demands. The visit also opened discussions on collaborative R&D projects, particularly in green technologies and energy efficiency.
