Kajang, 9 July 2026 – Led by the Chief Ecosystem Officer of MRANTI Corporation Sdn Bhd, Mr. Mohd Safuan Mohd Zairi, the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) welcomed the delegation to its campus.

This strategic visit aims to unlock collaboration opportunities by combining the unique strengths of both institutions in talent development, technology innovation, and commercialisation. GMI leverages its research excellence to build an integrated technology ecosystem spanning engineering, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, renewable energy, agriculture, and environmental sustainability.

Both organisations seek to develop mission-driven initiatives that focus on the pressing challenges in the area of sustainable technology, autonomous vehicles, Industry 4.0, and artificial intelligence implementation. This potential partnership aligns with Malaysia’s broader objectives of technological advancement and economic transformation.
The MRANTI delegation toured several of GMI’s Advanced Technology Centres, demonstrating the GMI’s commitment to cutting-edge training:

- Hybrid & EV System Lab
- KUKA Industrial Robotic Training Centre
- Cyber Battlefield Centre
These facilities underscore GMI’s position as a premier TVET institution in technical education and industrial training, providing students hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment and technologies.
