Kajang, 1 April 2026 – A delegation from DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia (DHU) visited the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) to explore strategic collaboration in technical and higher education. Ms. Rosaleen Goh Siew Khim, Director of the Transformation Office, led the delegation.

Both institutions discussed potential collaboration areas, including joint academic programmes, German language competency initiatives, and clear pathways for future academic progression. These efforts aim to create a seamless talent pipeline for Malaysia’s industry.
During the visit, delegates toured several of GMI’s Advanced Technology Centres, including:
- Cyber Schlachtfeld (Cyber Battlefield Centre)
- KUKA Industrial Robot Lab Training Centre
- Hybrid & EV System Lab
- Bosch Rexroth Smart Mini Factory
GMI looks forward to strengthening this partnership and driving meaningful collaboration to advance technical education and higher learning in Malaysia.
