Putrajaya, 6 November 2025 – Tuan Haji Ahmad Solihin bin Mohamed Yusoff, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI), took the stage as a distinguished panellist at the 9th Global Higher Education Forum 2025 (GHEF2025). The forum, a cornerstone of the Putrajaya Festival of Ideas (FOI), convened global leaders to address pressing challenges in education.

The pivotal discussion explored the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in advancing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). Panellists addressed how AI integration prepares a future-ready talent pipeline for rapidly evolving industrial demands, underscoring the urgent need to modernise TVET ecosystems through technology to ensure workforce resilience and lifelong employability.

The Minister of Human Resources Malaysia, YB Mr. Steven Sim Chee Keong, led the session. Tuan Haji Ahmad Solihin shared the platform with international experts, including Mr. Antonio Fernandez Perez, Business Development Director of Seabery in Spain, and Dr. Margarita Pavlova from the UNEVOC Centre, Hong Kong.
