Kajang, 12 March 2025 – The German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) continued its cherished tradition of bringing the spirit of Ramadan to life with its annual Program Bubur Lambuk 2025, a heart-warming initiative to share blessings and strengthen community bonds. Organized in collaboration with the GMI Islamic Welfare Body (BKIGMI), the GMI’s Registrar’s Office, Surau An-Najah GMI, and Café WakDol GMI, the event was a resounding success, spreading joy and warmth during the holy month.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), GMI extended its reach beyond its campus, sharing the traditional Ramadan delicacy with the communities of Bangi and Kajang. Continuing the annual tradition, this year’s distribution included Surau Al-Abqori Taman Universiti, Rumah Penjagaan & Pendidikan Warga Emas Selcare Sakinah in Bandar Baru Bangi, and the Pusat Jagaan Kanak-kanak Yatim/Miskin Muhammad Al Fateh in Taman Bangi Avenue.
The Program Bubur Lambuk is more than just a charitable act, it’s a celebration of togetherness and compassion. This initiative reflects GMI’s ongoing commitment to making a positive impact both within and beyond its walls.
