Kajang, 30 May 2025 – Four game-changing partnerships today established new benchmarks for technical education and sustainable workforce development. The German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) finalized landmark agreements with:
- Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MGCC)
- Sunview Group Berhad
- MB Automation (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
- German Educare (GEC)
These strategic collaborations will:
- Enhance vocational training programmes and elevate standards in skills certification.
- Advance sustainable energy education through renewable energy technologies and community initiatives.
- Expand Ausbildung programmes and cultural exchange opportunities.
We were honoured to host His Excellency Dr. Peter Blomeyer, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Malaysia, and Dato’ Nathan K. Suppiah, Member of the GMI Board of Directors, as distinguished witnesses to this significant ceremony.




In a significant strategic advancement, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) joined the GMI’s Industry Advisory Council, bridging global workforce insights to curriculum development.

The event honoured the distinguished service of His Excellency Dr. Peter Blomeyer, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Malaysia, whose ambassadorship significantly strengthened German-Malaysian educational cooperation through institutional frameworks.
