Kajang, 22 April 2026 – Madrasah Muallimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, led by Dr. Mhd. Lailan Arqam, Director of Madrasah Muallimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, visited the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI). The delegation, accompanied by Principle of Akademi Integrasi Anatranusa, Mr Firdaus Jamil, explored new collaboration opportunities in technical education and cultural exchange.

From smart manufacturing to artificial intelligence, the delegates experienced GMI’s Advanced Technology Centres, including:
- Bosch Rexroth Smart Mini Factory
- Additiv Zentrum
- CNC DMG Mori
- Mini Cinema & 2D Lab
- Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things Lab
- Hybrid & EV System Lab
Both parties identified three strategic areas for collaboration: the edutourism programme, pathway to Germany for tertiary education, and upskilling programmes. GMI looks forward to this visit opening doors for international student mobility, building competencies, bridging cultures, and creating global opportunities.
