Distribution Control System Technology Center SIEMENS

Introduction

Distributed Control System Technology Centre integrates elements of process control system such as automation station, operator station, field instruments, mini-scale plant as well as industrial communication busses. SIEMENS Process Control System 7 (PCS 7) is the main system to monitor and control distributed instruments throughout the center.

Objectives

The objective of this centre is to provide knowledge and hands-on skills related to Distributed Control System (DCS). The participants will also be introduced to SIEMENS S7-400 controller (Automation Station) and WinCC Explorer (Operator Station) as part of DCS components.
